Project description:
Step2 is a project to revitalize existing industrial, scientific and social resources in order to create conditions for attracting foreign technological companies and opening new, knowledge-based jobs.
The goals of the project are:
- create conditions for new jobs
- attract foreign companies that use advanced technologies
- encourage and accelerate the development of domestic companies with advanced technologies
- to change the technological focus of the economy of Rijeka and the Rijeka ring
The Step2 project aims to create the conditions for the creation of an additional 6.000 jobs in an industry that bases its operations on knowledge and new technologies.
The project implies iconstruction/reconstruction of a potential business facility with flexibly organized space:
- office-laboratory spaces combined into a functional unit with educational and common spaces
- congress, educational and presentation areas, as well as common meeting rooms and areas for catering services
- communal infrastructure facilities and the required number of parking spaces outdoors or in garages
Realization model:
open negotiation possibilities regarding the financing of the completion of the works and the furnishing of the facility
