Project description:
The area of Gomila, part of the historic core of Rijeka, almost completely lost its original character and appearance during the 20th century. However, the recent urban planning of that area was focused on the reconstruction of the historical environment, and on this basis, the project of building a residential-business complex with an underground garage was designed, which combines the idea of sustainable life and work in modern conditions with the reconstruction of the historical matrix and environments.
The implementation of the project also benefits the wider community, as preconditions are created for increasing the share of residential facilities in the old town and its arrangement as a complete pedestrian zone.
The project includes the construction of:
- underground public garages with a capacity of 800 vehicles on 5-6 floors, with an area of 8000 m²
- 15 residential, residential-commercial and commercial-residential buildings with a height of up to P + 3, gross developed area of 17.100 m², of which residential areas account for about 6.200 m², and business facilities for about 10.800 m²
- public areas - pedestrian streets, staircases and smaller squares (obligation of the City of Rijeka)
Realization model:
The City of Rijeka concluded a preliminary agreement on the right to build with the company Bononia 3M construction doo. Based on the same, it is possible to include in the project partners interested in the realization of the entire project or individual parts of it.
