The Sorinj business zone is located in the southwestern part of Lopar Municipality, in the area of ​​Sorinj, and it is approx. 1600 m from the Lopar settlement, and approx. 400 m from the sea coast (Vardaškolj bay - ferry port). State road D 105 passes through the zone, which is the primary road on the island of Rab. The position of the business zone is favorable in terms of traffic. State road D 105, which passes through the scope of the plan, represents the optimal traffic connection of the future business zone to settlements and other areas in the area of ​​Lopar Municipality and the entire island of Rab and to the main road, and indirectly maritime and air traffic routes of the county and the country. The zone is marked by two specific units separated by a national road, with different natural features, possibilities for spatial organization and construction. It is far from populated and touristic areas and the narrow coastal strip, but with relatively favorable possibilities for communal equipment and connection to the main island road.
