State road D-100 passes through the peripheral part of the Cres settlement. Between it and north of the county road Ž5124 is the Volnik business zone. Within the business zone there is the "Cresanka" warehouse, the administration building of Water Supply and Drainage, the Cres Lošinj and Elektro-voda communal services, the vehicle technical inspection station, the Volnik shopping center, the Sablić auto center, and below the business zone, on the south side of the county road, there are is the Dari recreation area and the cemetery. The traffic connection between the island of Cres and the mainland is achieved by connecting it to the state road D100, from where it is connected to the Porozina-Brestova ferry connections and further to the state road D402 (2,7 km) and the state road D21 to the regional centers of Rijeka and Pula, that is, via the state road D101 and the ferry connections Merag-Valbiska via state road D102 and the Krk bridge to the Adriatic tourist road (D8).
