Project description:
The area of the former Torpedo factory is the second largest area of the city located on the sea. The goal is to create a multi-purpose center for fair events, various events at sea, service activities, supplementing the content of the fishing harbor and the like. The surface area is 8,2 ha, with the intention that all included activities are connected to the sea as a point for sale and purchase of products for navigation, boats, nautical equipment, clothing and more. The area is enriched with industrial heritage because the innovation of the torpedo was created at this location and there is a unique launch pad for a torpedo that can be used for tourist purposes.
The project involves construction in accordance with the Spatial Plan of the City of Rijeka, enabling the development of multipurpose facilities and a parking lot.
