The hospitality and tourism zone Kanajt will be built for the purpose of increasing the accommodation capacity and tourist offer in Punat Municipality. The total planned increase in accommodation capacity is 650 beds (the existing capacity is 50 beds). The hospitality and tourism zone Kanajt covers a total of 18 hectares.

The construction of new buildings is planned: hotels, annexes, accompanying buildings and facilities (retail, service, hospitality, sports, entertainment, etc.) and the reconstruction of the existing building of the Hotel Kanajt. The construction, reconstruction and arrangement of the hospitality and tourism space is planned within spatial units that can also be building blocks. A total of 14 spatial units with approximately uniform construction conditions were determined. It is possible that several spatial units make up one building block or that one spatial unit consists of several building blocks, which will be determined in the conceptual project that is being prepared for the construction of buildings in accordance with these provisions.
