In order to improve the sports infrastructure in the city and create better conditions for the development and improvement of sports and recreation, it is planned to build a sports complex in one place, which should become a living room for all citizens of the city of Bakr and its surroundings, as well as one of the focal points of public and social life suburban area of ​​the City of Bakar.
On an area of ​​6 ha, in addition to the basic facilities of the sports court (basketball, handball, volleyball...), the center also includes fitness areas, recreational areas for zumba, aerobics, dance classes, squash courts, bowling, bocce court and outdoor tennis courts. small football and multipurpose playgrounds with children's parks with associated equipment. The project envisages a recreational jogging track laid freely in the space and a family part that would include a space for gathering, engaging in recreation on the outdoor grounds and possibilities for a family picnic. In addition to sports and recreational facilities, a dozen business premises for service, office, catering and other purposes are planned in the center, as well as space for the accommodation of the Fire Department for firefighting activities and operations in the area of ​​the City of Bakr and the Kukuljanovo Industrial Zone.

The financing of the construction of the Center is planned from the City's budget, loans and EU funds.
It is possible to co-finance the construction through private investors in exchange for a share in the ownership of the Sports Center.
