The multi-purpose international shooting center Grobnik would enable the work, training and organization of shooting competitions that would meet all international and Olympic standards, as well as the organization of shooting competitions such as: Mediterranean Games, world and European championships, international, national and local competitions and the like. The area is approx. 65 ha and unites all archery disciplines including crossbow as a new discipline and archery activities (bow and arrow). The Grobnik International Shooting Center provides space for 9 flying target fields, 2 hunting parkour fields, 2 wild boar fields in the 50 m MK rifle race and two moving target fields for the 10 m air rifle. Also, shooting ranges for the disciplines of the international and national program are planned ( rifle 300 m, rifle/pistol 50 m and pistol 25 m) and disciplines of the national program VK rifle 100 m, PAP 100 m, MK series rifle and ZP 10 m) non-standard disciplines (dynamic shooting). In the final phase, it is planned to build 500 seats for spectators. For the implementation of the project, the existing shooting distance (range line) of 800 m would be maintained (in order to enable the training of representatives of the Croatian Army and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia).
