The increase in the quality of the spatial capacity of the Summer Stage, which enables the arrival of a larger number of visitors and a more representative audience, which increases the competitive advantage of Opatija and affects the further development of the Kvarner destination and the wider region. Covering the Summer Stage will significantly affect its functionality and usability. Covering involves the installation of a movable roof structure on an area of 3.300 m² out of the total area of 7.200 m², all according to the recommendation and with the consent of the competent Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in Rijeka. Covering Opatija's Summer Stage will enable the planned stage, music and entertainment programs of a national and international character to be held for a numerically large audience - regardless of the current weather conditions. The auditorium capacity of the large stage covered by this project is 2.500 seats.
