In the border area with the Republic of Slovenia, in the Kupa river valley, there is a huge tourist potential and a lack of accommodation and hospitality. Mountaineers and tourists are increasingly attracted by the beauty of the Kupa River. With the reconstruction and repurposing of the old school, the space would gain accommodation capacity, together with accompanying catering facilities for individuals and various recreational/sports groups.
