Project description:
The project is conceived as a multi-purpose tourist-recreational center that, unlike other tourist-recreational centers, will offer skiing and sledding during the summer months on an artificial surface that we plan to install on one of the two trails with a total length of 300 m. It will be in the future probably one of the few logistics centers for the preparation of ski teams during the summer months, mainly due to the comparative advantage of this region, which is the proximity of the Adriatic Sea and beautiful beaches in Crikvenica, Krk or Opatija, which can be reached in a one-hour pleasant drive through the wooded Goran region.
This adrenaline park is located at the very beginning of the Velika Kapela mountain range, which provides additional opportunities for fitness training for athletes, recreationalists, mountaineers and all other interest groups who want to engage in some form of recreation.
The investment study in the first phase envisages the construction of a hostel and 4 Goran vacation homes, for which we have prepared project documentation. The idea is to offer Goran holiday homes to the market in the form of time-share with the possibility of using them for 5-30 years, while through the hostel they would offer tourist catering services to all interest groups throughout the year.
The development of an urban development plan by the Municipality of Mrkopalj is underway, which is a prerequisite for obtaining building permits.
