Since the entire area of ​​the County is a strong tourist destination, the reconstruction, expansion of the track and construction of the administrative building will enable the use of the airport for business and tourist needs. Grobnik Airport is located in the immediate vicinity of the Grobnik Racecourse and the Platak Regional Sports and Recreational and Tourist Center, the Dubina Golf Course and the Kovačina Shooting Center.

The project plans to:

• reconstruction and training of the runway for charter flights with a capacity of 30 to 50 passengers
• construction of an administrative building with accompanying facilities and necessary services that ensure safe reception of charter flights
• construction of a runway with light signaling and landing equipment and taxiways
• arrangement of a parking lot with approximately 500 parking spaces next to the airport administration building
