Project description:
The high-efficiency railway line Botovo - Zagreb - Rijeka and its connection to the network of European railways serves to ensure a quality and competitive service in the shipment of cargo from the port of Rijeka. Connecting to the EU high-speed rail network opens up exceptional potential in passenger traffic as well.
The construction of the railway is divided into four phases:
I. Botovo – Zagreb 90 km of second track
II. Čvor Zagreb 65 km of the new bypass line
III. Zagreb – Rijeka 177,5 km of new railway
IV. Junction Rijeka 50 km track
