Project description:
The lack of parking spaces within the city center and the intention to revitalize the city center resulted in planning the construction of an underground garage with additional facilities, especially commercial facilities intended for the surrounding residential area, as well as the arrangement of public areas intended for the needs of citizens and neighboring educational institutions.
As part of the project, it is planned to build:
- public garages with 720 spaces on 4 levels, with the first level being intended for commercial and service facilities
- arrangement of the public urban space above the garage and reconstruction of part of Ivana Filipovića Street (pedestrian zone, protected green areas, public green areas and playground, partial reconstruction of Ivana Filipovića Street)
Realization model:
A preliminary contract is offered for the sale of land and the construction of an underground garage. The investor is taking over the works on the partial reconstruction of Ivan Filipovića Street, related to the access to the parking lot building. The City of Rijeka undertakes to prepare documentation related to ownership and legislative regulations, as well as the construction of the intersection between Ulica Ivan Filipović and Ulica Senjski uskok.
