The Port Authority of Rijeka plans to invest approximately EUR XNUMX million in the preparation of study and project documentation with a conceptual solution for the construction of a new container terminal on the island of Krk. The construction project will include the construction of a new terminal, the construction of a bridge with a railway line and a road connection from the island of Krk to the Rijeka-Zagreb railway line.
The Port Authority of Rijeka, HŽ infrastruktur doo and the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure will submit the project to a future public call within the framework of the CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) program, in order to obtain funds for the co-financing of the construction of the new terminal.
